e·silentpartner’s security options provides systems administrators with granular controls for user access and/or restrictions throughout the application.
e·silentpartner has an integrated security system that is governed by a single precept – no one can access the system unless he/she is explicitly granted permission.
Access to e·silentpartner (and your database) is granted by the Security Administrator and can only be allowed if ...
- The designated individual was previously entered as a resource (employee or vendor) and...
- A valid password is entered upon sign on to the system.
Once the individual is logged on to the database, then the individual can access only those features and functions defined within the individual’s security record.
Permitting access to an individual is executed by using the Security Access window, invoked by selecting Security from the Setup menu.
