Under Media, click the 
icon on the right of the Media Plan submenu to start a new media plan. Note, Media add/edit security rights are required for the user to be able to add or edit Media plans.
From the new Media plan window, enter the header information to include Company, Client, Job, Entered in currency, From (month), To (date), and optionally an internal Note. When complete, click Insert.
Various rules are in place for the media plan creation:
- Only Jobs that have been set as Media Jobs will be available under the Job list.
- By default, the Media Plan currency is the posting currency of the company. This may be modified as necessary.
- Billed in currency will be determined by the Job currency. This cannot be modified.
- By default, Placed by will be set as the user creating the Media Plan.
- Media Plan will be created with a status of ESTIMATE. This status will be maintained until at least one Media Order has been created.
