Search, Review and Modify a client invoice

Where to find:

The Invoice selection allows you to find invoices when you only have an invoice number and links you to the ability to print and adjust the invoice on the job for which the invoice belongs.

Enter the invoice number or other search criteria and click Search. Filter by fields including such as Company, Invoiced amount, Invoice Date, From/Thru invoice date range, Invoice, Client, Contact, Division, or Campaign.

Click the blue Job number to link to the job invoices window for the job. Then click the blue invoice # to review and edit the invoice.

You can export the search results as a csv file.

Invoices can be edited if they are open or not included in a group invoice. However, items, amounts billed by item and pre-bills applied may only be changed for invoices listed as 'Not Posted'. Otherwise, only invoice headers, item notes, and taxes billed can be changed for open invoices. Paid status invoices cannot be edited.

Add or remove BILL status charges from unposted progress Bills. Always save any changes.

Delete, add or edit items billed for unposted Estimate or Advance Bill invoices. Modify advances applied to unposted Estimate or progress Bill invoices. Always save any changes.
