Activities serve as a sort of scheduling module within CRM. Activities are a planned communication between your company and the prospect. Here, you can schedule phone calls, follow ups, emails and meetings. You may then be sure to display the “Activities” information on your dashboard as a reminder of the communication flow between sales and prospects.

Just like Leads, Contacts and Opportunities you can search for Activities/Notes to give you a time table of all occurrences related to a lead. However, make sure to check your Dashboard regularly for the scheduled activities to act upon.
